Youth & Climate Crisis: Art as a Force of Resistance and Expression

How can we support young people to understand the consequences of the climate crisis without being overwhelmed by anxiety and negative emotions?

Cube, as part of the European Reset-Art project, promotes experiential learning through artistic activities, empowering young people to manage eco-anxiety and express themselves creatively in the face of climate change challenges.

Participation in creative processes enables young people to:

✔ Process information in a personal and meaningful way
✔ Connect knowledge with emotion
✔ Develop empathy and a sense of responsibility

Through theatre workshops, art interventions and creative writing activities, the Reset-Art project encourages young people to understand not only what is happening to the planet, but also how it affects them emotionally – and what they can do to contribute to a sustainable future.

Art acts as an essential tool for empowerment and mental awareness, supporting the younger generation in dealing with ecological stress.
