Thessaloniki Pride stands out as a dynamic initiative promoting the rights and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in Thessaloniki and throughout Greece.
With its annual festival attracting thousands every June, Thessaloniki Pride celebrates diversity and fights against stigma.
Through educational activities, legal and psychological support, it particularly supports LGBTQ+ youth.
It actively participates in policy development, such as the National LGBTQ+ Equality Strategy 2021, and successfully hosted EuroPride 2024.
Thessaloniki Pride has been highlighted as a best practice in the Greek National Report of the Proud Ambassadors Project, in which CUBE participates. Through actions promoting LGBTQ+ visibility and rights, it serves as an example of social change and inclusion.
Despite challenges such as social prejudice, Thessaloniki Pride continues to build a safe and inclusive environment for all.
