At CUBE, through the European ROMDIEM Project, we remember — not only to honor those we’ve lost, but to build a future where justice, truth, and dignity prevail.
The history of the Roma people, and especially the trauma of the Roma Holocaust, has too often been ignored, denied, or forgotten. But memory is not a passive act. It is an active responsibility — one that calls us to listen, to learn, and to act.

Through ROMDIEM, we work to preserve and share the testimonies of Roma Holocaust survivors and their descendants. These are not just stories from the past. They are living memories that shape our collective future. They challenge silence and denial. They demand that we see clearly, speak honestly, and never forget.
But remembrance alone is not enough.
ROMDIEM is also about empowerment. It’s about giving space to Roma youth to express themselves creatively — through writing, visual arts, storytelling, and education. It’s about reclaiming identity, preserving culture, and building community resilience in the face of ongoing discrimination and exclusion.
At CUBE, we believe in the power of memory to transform. We stand beside the new generation of Roma voices who are not only remembering — they are reimagining what justice and dignity can look like in Europe today.
🕯️ Because remembering is not looking back — it’s a way of moving forward, together.
