On September 17, the online kick-off meeting of the new European project Flashbacks of Forgotten Crimes – Roma Reels took place, with CUBE serving as the project coordinator.
Together with our partners from Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania, and Bulgaria, we set the foundation for the project: planning the first steps, defining the research direction, and establishing the ethical framework for collecting testimonies and archival material related to the Roma Holocaust and genocide, from WWII until today.
Project Partners:
• CUBE NGO (PCo)
• EDIT CENTAR – Serbia
• Roma Youth Center (RYC) – North Macedonia
• Roma Versitas Albania (RVA) – Albania
• OECON Group Bulgaria – Bulgaria
With commitment and collaboration, we begin a project that brings forward stories that must not be forgotten.
